TU IOST Opens BIT Exam Application Form

Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology, Dean’s Office, Examination Section, Balkhu has published a notice to fill the examination application form for the four-year bachelor level BIT (Bachelors in Information Technology - BIT).
This notice has been issued for regular examinees of Second Year Third Semester (2nd Year 3rd Semester) of the 2081 batch to be conducted in 2082 under the semester examination system and grading system (Grading System), and for partial examinees of earlier batches.
Deadlines for students and submission by campuses/colleges
According to the notice, examinees must complete the examination application form by 2082 Falgun 20.
The concerned campuses and colleges have been instructed to verify the students’ forms and submit them compulsorily to this office by 2082 Falgun 22.
Exam fee, late fee, and bank deposit
The examination fee per semester (partial) has been fixed at Rs. 2,500/-.
Up to the first week after the deadline date, the form can be submitted by paying Rs. 2,500/- as a late fee.
The collected examination fee must be deposited in the name of the Dean’s Office in Nepal Bank Ltd., Kirtipur, current account number 045001000099107000001.
Documents to be submitted and internal assessment requirement
While sending the forms, campuses must compulsorily send proof of approved quota and the marks of internal assessment (Internal Assessment).
It is stated that an examination form cannot be filled for subjects failed in internal assessment, and if it is filled, the examination for that subject will be automatically cancelled.
In addition, examinees’ attendance must be mentioned in the form as per TU rules.
Exam center change, subject change, and form completion rule
As per TU’s decision, the provision related to changing the examination center has been removed.
After selecting subjects and filling the form once, examinees will not be allowed to change the subjects.
The form must be filled by the examinee themselves and fully signed.
It is also stated that if an examinee leaves the regular semester without submitting the exam form and appears for another semester examination in between, the examination of such examinees will be automatically cancelled.
