Lok Sewa Aayog Section Officer Exam Center Jaleshwor: PSC Sets Up New Examination Centers in Jaleshwor

The Central Public Service Commission (PSC), commonly referred to as Lok Sewa Aayog, has made a progressive stride by opening new examination centers in Jaleshwor. This initiative is aimed at making the examination process more accessible for aspirants pursuing the Section Officer, Gazetted Third Class (Non-Technical), and similar positions as per Advertisement No. 16699-16705/079-80 (Open/Inclusive).

Essential Guidelines for Aspirants of the Public Service Exam

The PSC has provided crucial directives for public service exam aspirants to ensure a streamlined process:

  • Exam Schedule: PSC strongly emphasizes that candidates follow the pre-released timetable, regardless of sudden holidays.
  • Admit Card: Entry to the examination hall is strictly dependent on the admit card presentation.
  • Timely Arrival: Candidates are advised to arrive at least an hour before the scheduled test time.
  • Banned Items: Electronic devices, including mobile phones and calculators, are strictly forbidden. The sole permitted writing instrument is a black ink pen.
  • Identity Verification: Candidates must produce their Nepali citizenship certificate or any valid government-issued photo ID.

Safety Measures During the Transition Phase

In the light of ongoing changes, PSC has incorporated additional safety precautions:

  • Face Masks: It is mandatory for candidates to wear face masks to gain entry into the examination center. Personal sanitizers and drinking water should also be brought along.
  • Social Distancing: All candidates should maintain a minimum physical distance of two meters.
  • Follow Staff Instructions: Adherence to the guidelines provided by examination staff is critical.

Special Provisions for Covid-19 Positive Candidates

PSC has made unique provisions for candidates who have tested positive for Covid-19. Such candidates must:

  • Request for Assistant Writers: As per Rule 68 (1) of the Public Service Commission, 2079, candidates in need of assistant writers must submit a relevant application to the office a minimum of 10 days before the examination date. Valid reasons and supporting evidence must accompany this request.

By following these guidelines, candidates can ensure a hassle-free, secure, and efficient examination experience.
