NEA Level 5 Written Exam Schedule Published
The Public Service Commission, Security Agencies and Organized Institutions Division, Written Examination Operation Branch, has published the written examination schedule for various assistant-level Level 5 posts of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
According to the advertisement published on January 1, 2026 (2082/09/18 BS), the commission has issued this notice fixing the examination dates, time, and centers for posts under the open and inclusive categories.
Administration Service Examination Schedule
For the posts of Meter Reading Supervisor under Administration Service and Accountant under Administration/Accounts, both at Level 5, the joint First Paper examination will be held on May 29, 2026 (2083/02/15 BS) at 2:00 PM.
Meter Reading Supervisor Second Paper
The Second Paper examination for the post of Meter Reading Supervisor will be held on May 30, 2026 (2083/02/16 BS) at 2:00 PM.

The notice states that the examination centers for all posts will be as designated by the respective Public Service Commission office conducting the examination.
Examination Instructions
The commission has made various rules and conditions mandatory for the examinations.
Writing and Answer Sheet Rules
Candidates must use only a dot pen or pen with black ink on the answer sheet.
For objective multiple-choice questions, only answers written in English capital letters A, B, C, and D will be recognized.
Prohibited Items and Schedule Conditions
Carrying bags, mobile phones, and other electronic devices into the examination building is strictly prohibited.
Even if an unexpected public holiday occurs, the scheduled examination will not be postponed without prior notice from the commission.
Admit Card and Identity Requirement
An admit card is mandatory to appear in the examination, and candidates must arrive at the examination building at least one hour before the examination begins.
Along with the admit card, candidates must also bring their citizenship certificate or any photo identity card issued by the Government of Nepal.
The examination will be conducted in accordance with the standards issued by the commission regarding examination operation and management during special circumstances.
Provision for Writing Assistant
In accordance with Rule 68 of the Public Service Commission recruitment and promotion guidelines, candidates who require a writing assistant must appear in person at the office conducting the examination and submit an application at least 10 days before the examination date.
