Exam Fee Structure

  • Standard Exam Fee: Rs 2,500

Online Application System for General Engineer Registration Exam

1. General Information

Application form for exam can be applied online who have completed their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the universities recognized by Nepal Engineering Council.

To check your university click on the link Check Universities.

NOTE: If you do not find your university, your university may not yet be recognized by NEC. Please, Kindly visit NEC Office for further information.

  1. Fee Information
  2. Exam Fee - Rs.2,500/-(to be deposited at the time of online application) Candidates who had paid Rs 3500/- at previous exam has been adjusted Rs 1000/- and they have to pay Rs 1500/- only when they reapply for
  3. Registration Fee: Rs 5000/- + Id card charges Rs. 200/-.

Total Rs 5,200/- (to be deposited at NEC Account, After passing the exam)

For adjustment of Rs 1000/- in exam fee who had paid Rs 3500/- for first exam, have to pay Rs 4200/- only for registration fee.

Note: Please upload your bank voucher online, then provide a hard copy of bank voucher or khalti payment to NEC

  4. Character Certificate of SEE
  5. Transcript of 10+2
  6. Character Certificate of 10+2
  7. Transcript / Semester wise mark sheet of the Bachelors
  8. Character certificate of the Bachelors degree/ Documents showing duration of study.
  9. Degree / Provisional certificate of bachelors degree issued by
  10. Equivalance certificate from authorized agency of nepal government is required for student studied from abroad for SEE, 10+2 or Bachelor (If applicable)
  11. NEC Registration Certificates of two registered(Notary not necessary)
  12. One Passport size

Note:- Application can be submitted online only no need to submit hardcopy to NEC

Re-apply:

The candidate who had already appeared the NEC exam, they can only reapply from their Dashhoard by doing payment only, they need not to suhmit new application.

Online Payment Provision:

The Candidate who wants to pay online, a gateway of payment Khalti is available at the end, while filling out the online application form.

Offline Payment Provision:

The applicant should deposit fee in the name of Nepal Engineering Council, Account No. 1160100001093001 at any branches of Rastriya Banijya Bank. Bank voucher must be upload in the online application system.
