Nepal Rastra Bank Assistant Written Examination Centers in Kathmandu Fixed

The Kathmandu Office of the Public Service Commission has published a notice fixing the examination centers for the written examination of the Assistant post at Nepal Rastra Bank. According to the advertisement published on 2082.08.19, the Commission has determined the date, time, and examination centers for the written examination of approved candidates.

As per Notice No. 191.082-83, the subjective examination for the post of Assistant Second under Administration Service, under Advertisement No. 18.2082 (Open/Inclusive), will be conducted in two papers.

Candidates requiring a writing assistant must submit an application to the Kathmandu Office of the Commission at least 10 (ten) days before the examination date, along with reasons and supporting documents, in accordance with Rule 68(1) of the Public Service Commission Regulations, 2079.

Written Examination Schedule

First Paper

The First Paper on Banking, Accounting, Mathematics, and Information Technology will be held on 2082.12.13 from 2:00 PM for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Second Paper

The Second Paper on Economics, Management, and Law will be held on 2082.12.14 from 2:00 PM for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The written examination centers have been assigned across 24 different venues according to candidates’ roll numbers. The details of the roll numbers, number of candidates, and examination centers are as follows:

Important Instructions

The Commission has also issued special instructions related to the conduct of the examination (Note 1). Even if an unexpected public holiday falls on the examination day, the scheduled program will not be postponed without prior notice from the Commission.

Only black ink must be used in the examination. Carrying bags, mobile phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices into the examination center is prohibited.

No candidate will be allowed to participate in the examination without an admit card. Therefore, candidates must bring their admit card along with their citizenship certificate or any photo identification card issued by the Government of Nepal and must arrive at the examination center at least 1 hour before the examination begins.

No candidate will be allowed to sit for the examination at any center other than the one assigned. Candidates suffering from infectious diseases must make their own arrangements for masks, sanitizer, and drinking water for personal use.
