Nepal Medical Council Opens Special Exam Applications

The Nepal Medical Council has opened the online application form for the upcoming Special Examination. The council has made this notice public to inform all concerned, as per the approved examination program.
The Special Examination is scheduled to be conducted on 2026-04-02 and 2026-04-03 [2082-12-19 and 2082-12-20 (BS)]. The examination will be held at the Institute of Engineering Studies, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
Application Period and Submission Method
Applications can be submitted with the regular fee from 2026-02-13 to 2026-03-12 [2082-11-01 to 2082-11-28 (BS)]. Applications can be submitted with a late fee on 2026-03-13 and 2026-03-14 [2082-11-29 and 2082-11-30 (BS)].
The application must be submitted fully online via exam.nmc.org.np, 24 hours a day. Applications and fees submitted through any method other than online will not be accepted.
Required Documents
Candidates who completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in medical science outside Nepal must mandatorily submit an official equivalence (Equivalent) certificate, as per the council’s notice dated 2021-01-12 [2077-09-29 (BS)].
For those who studied in countries other than India, an official letter from the Department of Immigration with complete details of arrival and departure is also required.
