Pokhara University Special Chance Examination 2080: 

Introduction: Pokhara University has announced a one-time Special Chance Examination for students who couldn't meet the required CGPA for their respective programs. This guide provides all the necessary details about the examination, eligibility criteria, and the application process.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Subjects Exclusion: Thesis, Dissertation, GRP, Independent Studies, Project Work, and Practicum are not considered for achieving CGPA 2.00 or 3.00. Students can take a maximum of 3 subjects to meet the CGPA requirement.
2. Year of Study: Only students in their final year/semester/trimester are eligible.
3. Credit Limit:
   • Graduate level: Maximum 24 credits.
   • Postgraduate and M. Phil. level: Maximum of 4 courses (including Thesis, Dissertation, etc.).
4. Submission Deadline: Results and related documents for Coursework, Thesis, etc., must be submitted within 90 days of their publication. Late submissions won't be entertained.
5. Thesis/Dissertation Results: For subjects like Thesis, Dissertation, etc., results and necessary documents should be submitted within 90 days of their publication to the Examination Control Office, Kaski.
6. Unpublished Results: If results for defended subjects like Thesis, Dissertation, etc., are not published due to time constraints, they should be submitted within 30 days from the examination schedule's publication date.
7. Question Paper Format: Questions will be based on the course studied by the students.

Examination Fee:

• Graduate level (up to 5 subjects): Rs. 5,000. Additional Rs. 1,000 per subject thereafter.
• Postgraduate theory courses: Rs. 6,000.
• Postgraduate thesis: Rs. 10,000.
• Graduation level thesis: Rs. 6,000.
• Completed thesis Viva/Defense (results pending): Rs. 6,000.

Application Process:

1. Deadline: The last date to submit the examination application form is 2080/06/14.
2. Payment Details: Fees should be deposited in either Nepal Investment Bank Limited (Account No. 01105020011938) or Kamana Seva Bikas Bank Limited (Account No. 01200300027317000001). Attach the bank voucher to the application form.
3. Submission: Submit the form to the Examination Control Office, Kaski, through the respective college. Direct submissions won't be accepted.
4. Eligibility Check: After form submission, eligible students' names will be listed on the Pokhara University Examination Control Office website: www.pouexam.edu.np.
5. Examination Details: Schedule, timings, and center details will be updated on the website later.
