PSC Kathmandu Sets Exam Centers for Section Officer First-Phase Written Exam

The Public Service Commission (PSC), Kathmandu Office has determined the examination buildings (centers) for the first-phase written examination of the Gazetted Third Class (Non-Technical) Section Officer or equivalent post.

This notice has been published for candidates whose online application forms have been approved under Advertisement No. 16701–16707/2082-83 (Open and Inclusive), with Kathmandu set as the examination center.

Exam Schedule and Format

As per the pre-determined schedule published by the Commission, the competitive written examination will be conducted on 2082 Magh 24 at 11:00 AM.

The subject of the examination is “Administrative Aptitude Test (Administrative Aptitude Test).” The examination system will be objective (multiple-choice), and the duration has been fixed at 1 hour 30 minutes.

Mandatory Rules to Follow

Candidates must strictly follow the rules below:

  • Only a dot pen/pen with black ink must be used in the answer booklet.

  • Candidates must reach the examination building at least 1 (one) hour before the exam starts.

  • No candidate will be allowed to appear without an admit card. Therefore, the admit card and citizenship certificate or a photo ID card issued by the Government of Nepal must be brought compulsorily.

  • Carrying bags, mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, and other electronic devices into the examination building is prohibited.

  • Candidates will not be allowed to take the exam at any center other than the assigned one.

  • Due to infectious diseases, candidates must manage masks, sanitizer, and drinking water on their own as per personal need.
