Candidate penalized for Army officer cadet exam misconduct

The Public Service Commission has taken action against a candidate for committing irregularities in the written examination for the Nepal Army’s Officer Cadet post.
For acts contrary to the disciplined examination environment, the Commission cancelled the candidate’s examination and imposed a ban preventing participation in any examinations conducted by the Commission for the next two years.
According to a notice issued by the Commission’s Examination Administration Branch, the incident occurred during the Nepali subject written examination held on 2082/10/07 for Nepal Army Advertisement No. 01/2081-82(Open and Inclusive), Military General Service, Officer Cadet post.
Action was taken after candidate Bibils Mall (Roll No. 8712) was found to have brought answers written in pencil on the back page of the admit card.
The Commission concluded that the candidate, a permanent resident of Makwanpur, committed an offence under Section 41(1)(a) of the Public Service Commission Act, 2079.
In accordance with Section 41(2) of the same Act, a decision was made to cancel the said examination and to bar the candidate from being eligible for any examination conducted by the Public Service Commission for the next two years. The Commission made this decision on 2082/10/15.
