Coronavirus Testing begins in seven Provinces:

Coronavirus testing has begun in all seven provinces. Some provinces have already started and Others will start immediately. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Bikash Devkota said at a press conference held in the capital on Thursday, the government is now launching the Corona test in all seven provinces, starting in some provinces and tomorrow in some provinces. He said that tests have already started at BP Koirala Institute Health Sciences (BPKIHS) Dharan, Pokhara, and Hetauda. The information has already begun in Karnali Province.

Spokeswoman Devkota said preparations are underway to start an immediate trial in the rest of the state. Currently, 12 swab tests have been started in Dharan. Acting Vice-Chancellor of the establishment, Guru Khanal, said that 12 coronas were being tested daily. Director of Gandaki Pradesh Health Directorate Dr. Binod Bindu Sharma informed that Swab Testing Service was started on Tuesday.

Infection in the sixth person:

One more coronavirus infection has been confirmed in Nepal on Thursday (April 2, 2020). Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in a 64-year-old woman arrived in Nepal from abroad. Along with this, a total of six-person corona infections in Nepal. Spokesman Dr. Bikas Devkota informed Corona that a woman from Qatar Airlines dated on March 17 had arrived in Nepal. The Second, Fifth and Sixth Coronavirs infected persons had arrived on the same plane.

Sixth and Fifth infected had come to Nepal from Belgium via Qatar. Dr. Devkota said that Corona has been tested in 1,184 people in Nepal by Thursday evening. The sample of a student from China who had seen Corona for the first time was sent to Hong Kong because Nepal did not have the Corona test. Dr. Devkota said 43 people were being tested in different labs. Devkota said contact tracing of the four infected was over. Spokeswoman Devkota said the health of all those previously infected was normal.

All infected are from abroad

There are six people who have come to Nepal from abroad. So far no person in Nepal has been found to have corona infection. The first corona infection in Nepal was confirmed on January 24. The infected person came to Nepal from China. The second infected was reported to have arrived in Nepal from France on March 17th. The second coronavirus was confirmed in the 19-year-old woman. She came from France to Kathmandu via Doha in Qatar.

Similarly, Corona was found in a 32-year-old youth who came to Kathmandu on March 20 from the UAE. He was the third infected. The two are currently undergoing treatment at Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital. The fourth infected person is being treated at Dhangadhi while the fifth infected Baglung women are being treated at Dhaulagiri Regional Hospital. She had come from Belgium to Nepal via Qatar. Corona infection has been seen in three persons who have come to Nepal from Qatar Airlines along with the last infected woman.
