The worldwide death toll from Corona increased to 1.5 lakh

The number of deaths from coronavirus has crossed 1,50,000 worldwide, of which about a quarter have died in the US only. At the same time, US President Donald Trump has given his support to the demonstrations in the country against the orders of lockdown.

There is ample evidence that building a physical distance has reduced the outbreak of the global epidemic, especially when more than half of the world's population, or 4.5 billion people, is imprisoned in their homes.

Governments around the world are now in the throes of when and how to relax the bandh which has put the global economy in crisis while the number of deaths due to Kovid-19 is increasing in the most affected countries.

Trump's opposition to lockdown:

Protesters gathered in three US states this week and demanded the lifting of the ban. The largest demonstration took place here in Michigan where 3,000 people gathered, some of whom also had weapons.

Trump's decision to waive the shutdown has been left to most state officials while he has also outlined instructions to reopen the country's economy in a phased manner.

Around one-third of the 2.2 million people infected worldwide are in the US. It has the highest number of deaths of 37,000 in any country in the world. This is followed by mass casualties in Italy, Spain, and France.

However, these figures only show the actual number of genuine infected people to some extent as many countries are investigating only serious cases. In fact, there is no corner of the world left untouched by the effect of the coronavirus. The overnight death toll in Africa exceeded 1,000.

Nigeria on Saturday announced the death of President Mohammed Buhari's top aide. He is the highest-ranking person in the most populous nation in Africa, vulnerable to the virus. After adding information on the deaths of 1,290 more people in Wuhan city, China improved the total number of deaths to 4,636.

Trump retaliated angrily over claims of slow response to the virus threat and accused Beijing of undermining the virus's impact.

Leaders of France and Britain also questioned the Chinese management of the crisis, but China responded that it did not hide any information about the disease. Switzerland, Denmark, and Finland started opening schools and shops this week after signs of some relief from the outbreak in Europe.

The Health Minister of Germany said that the rate of infection has decreased to a great extent after the deaths of 3,400 people in the country and restrictions are gradually being given relief there.

Parts of Italy are also trying to recover after the lockdown. But Japan, Britain, and Mexico have extended the duration of their current measures.

Signs of economic losses are getting deeper with the global pandemic where China has recorded a decline in GDP for the first time in several decades. African country leaders and global economic institutions warned on Friday that the continent needed several billion dollars in additional funds to fight the outbreak.

Russia is trying to get UN approval:

Russia is again attempting to obtain UN General Assembly approval for a resolution on the coronavirus epidemic.

This time it has dropped its demand for the removal of unilateral sanctions imposed without UN Security Council approval but is still adamant on seeking to end the protectionist attitude.

The 193-member world body is to consider Russia's revised draft proposal by noon on Wednesday.

This calls for the United Nations declaration of solidarity to meet the challenges posed by the coronavirus epidemic.

Japan's medical system creaking:

Recently, 80 hospitals refused to examine the patient who was suffering from fever and difficulty in breathing.

The Japanese Association for Acute Medicine and the Japan Society for Emergency Medicine said that emergency rooms in many hospitals are also refusing to treat patients suffering from heart attacks and external injuries.

Osaka University physician Takeshi Shimazu said that we are not able to provide general emergency medicine.

Trump calls for freeing states from Democratic governors:

US President Donald Trump urged his supporters to liberate the three states from Democratic governors, prompting demonstrations against the order to stay indoors to prevent the coronavirus.

At least two Republican-led states have taken steps to relax the restrictions.

The US prohibits the sale of chemical substance considered 'miracle'

The US Department of Justice has banned the sale of a chemical substance declared 'miraculous' by a Florida church group to treat the coronavirus.

The Justice Department on Friday filed a complaint against the Genesis 2 Church of Health and Healing and several of its key members for promoting the 'Miracle Mineral Solution'.

The church claimed the chemical substance 'MMS' could completely cure the coronavirus, including COVID-19.

Apart from this, Alzheimer's, autism, brain cancer, HIV / AIDS, etc. are also beneficial in diseases.

1000 dead in Africa:

The Coronavirus epidemic has killed 1,000 people in Africa.

According to AFP calculations based on official figures, Algeria has the highest number of deaths in the country at 364 due to coronavirus in Africa. This is followed by 205 people in Egypt, 135 in Morocco and 50 in South Africa.

According to statistics, there have been a total of 19,334 cases of infection in African countries since the outbreak of infection in China in December last year.

Like China, other countries will also revise the number of dead: WHO

The World Health Organization has said that after controlling the coronavirus infection, many countries can modify their death toll like China.

The WHO said on Friday that the infection spread very rapidly in Wuhan and it was difficult for the authorities to register every death and infection case.

Authorities in Wuhan initially tried to cover up this transition.

Physicians who were alerted online about this infection were punished and questions have been raised about the government for registering cases of infection as it has repeatedly changed its parameters of calculation.
