Demand for UN member states, everyone should have equal access to corona vaccines

The 193 member countries of the United Nations General Assembly have unanimously passed a resolution demanding that all have timely and equal access to future vaccines and drugs to fight the coronavirus.

The resolution passed on Monday also underlined the important role of the leadership of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The WHO has suffered criticism from the US and other countries for its methods of dealing with this global epidemic.

The US has supported this proposal prepared by Mexico.
