Coronavirus World Update 97,046 Deaths, and 1,619,753 Cases

The number of dead from the coronavirus is increasing daily. So far, 97 thousand people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. More than 1.6 million people are infected. The situation in America is getting serious. In the last 24 hours, 1783 people have died. There are more than 4 lakh 68 thousand infected cases and more than 16 thousand people have died. At the same time, the White House has accused the Voice of America of promoting China's propaganda.

In Spain, 605 people died in one day from the Coronavirus, the lowest death toll in 17 days.

Britain government will take back British citizens trapped in India

The UK government announced the withdrawal of more than 3,000 British nationals stranded in India with 12 additional charter flights amid lockdowns.

These additional flights have been arranged from various parts of India including Punjab, Gujarat, West Bengal, and South India.

Earlier, seven charter flights from Goa, Mumbai and New Delhi were announced last week.

Minister Tariq Ahmed in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office said that we are doing everything we can to bring thousands of British tourists back home.

Indian consulate is helping Indians trapped in America:

The Indian Consulate is providing all possible help to keep thousands of Indian people trapped in the US amidst unprecedented situations arising out of Coronavirus.

People traveling to meet Indian students, business travelers and families are stranded in the US due to sudden cancellations of flights to India and other parts of the world.

At the time of this unpredictable crisis, Consulates dealing with Indian-American diplomatic affairs in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas are helping people on their way home by giving them essentials and directions.

Indian Consulate General in Houston Aseem Mahajan said that the embassy has been working in this emergency since March 14 and is providing the necessary help and information to the people.

At present, there is no plan to take these people out from India because no aircraft is coming to India till 14 April.

White House accuses Voice of America of promoting China's propaganda:

The White House has said that the US-funded global media network 'Voice of America' (VOA) is promoting China's propaganda about the coronavirus.

The White House has launched a campaign against this network, broadcasting in several languages, especially in developing countries.

The White House, in its newsletter '1600 Daily', cited a VOA broadcast that described China's Wuhan lockdown or shutdown as successful.

Wuhan was the main center of infection for the virus in China. The VOA called it a 'successful model', stating that many countries adopted the bandh.

Inflation eased amid looseness of lockdown in China:
