Fifth COVID-19 positive case confirmed in Nepal:

Coronavirus (Covid-29) infection has been confirmed in a young girl from Baglung who came to Nepal from Belgium. The 22-year-old, who returned from Europe, confirmed the infection.

In addition, the number of people infected with Covid-19 in Nepal has officially reached five. One of them has gone home after being healed while two are being treated at Shukraj Raj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital in Teku and Seti Regional Hospital in Dhangadhi.
The young lady from Baglung, who is currently in transit, arrived in Nepal on March 17 from Qatar Airways' QR 652 aircraft.

The 19-year-old girl who was on the same plane was confirmed on March 23 with a coronavirus infection. Then 158 passengers aboard the plane were searched. A sample of the girl was also collected at Dhaulagiri Hospital in Baglung Municipality.

He was asked to stay at the hospital after collecting the sample, but he has been staying at his home, sources said.

Now that the Korana virus infection has been confirmed, preparations are underway to bring her to Kathmandu safely.
