
Former students of Gurukul Vidyasadan Secondary School, located in Bastolathar, Pokhara-9, have united to engage in humanitarian efforts. On Wednesday, they served breakfast to the residents of Manavsewa Ashram in Hemja.
Principal Bhuvan Subedi expressed gratitude for the noble act of the alumni. He spoke on the significance of basic human needs—shelter, food, and clothing—in a meaningful life.
Madan Thapa, a representative of the ashram, thanked the supportive alumni while recalling Gurukul’s ongoing contribution to both the educational and sports sectors in Pokhara.
Basanta Kumar Shrestha, the Ten Plus Two coordinator, shared that engaging in humanitarian service brings inner satisfaction. He emphasized the importance of continually nurturing such a spirit of service.
Former student Sandeep Acharya remarked that service itself is a form of religion. He shared that helping those in need brings true spiritual contentment.
