Hajj Qurbani Payment Deadline: Falgun 15, 2082
Singha Durbar, Kathmandu | February 13, 2026 [2082/11/01 (BS)].
The Nepal Hajj Committee under the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an urgent notice requiring pilgrims traveling for Hajj this year to deposit the qurbani (sacrifice) amount. The amount must be deposited mandatorily due to revised rules of the Government of Saudi Arabia.
In previous years, pilgrims used to pay the qurbani amount individually in Saudi Arabia through bank payment. From this year, as per the rules of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Government of Saudi Arabia, the process must be completed through the online system, the Nusuk Masar Platform.
The qurbani amount has been set at 720 Saudi Riyals per pilgrim. The Committee stated that if the amount is not deposited, the visa process cannot move forward, based on information received from the Consulate General of Nepal in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
For Hajj 1447 (2026), pilgrims who applied for Hajj must deposit NPR 27,922 as qurbani (based on the exchange rate of 38.78 on February 12, 2026 [2082/10/29 (BS)]).
The bank voucher must clearly mention the pilgrim’s name and district. A scanned copy of the voucher must be emailed to the Committee at nepalhaj@gmail.com by February 27, 2026 [2082/11/15 (BS)].
