List of Public Holidays for 2077 B.S. (2020-2021 AD) in Nepal:

The Government of Nepal has decided to schedule the following public holidays, festival holidays and office hours for all government offices within one year from 2077-01-01 (2077 Baishakh 1) to 2077-12-31 (2077 Chaitra 31).

The government has made public the list of public holidays of 2077 years. According to the list Dashain in 10th Kartik and Bhaitika 1st Manshir.

The Government has already published the list of public holidays of 2077 years in the Nepal Gazette. There are 52 Saturdays throughout the year of 2077. Saturday is a weekly holiday for Nepali people across the country.

There will be public holidays across Nepal on 52 Saturdays of the year, five days of Dashain, three days of Tihar and other seven days of total 67 days.

The biggest festival of Nepalese will be a public holiday in Dashaima from 7th Kartik (Phoolpati) to 11th Kartik (Ekadashi) for five days across the country. Nepali's second biggest festival will be a three-day public holiday in Tihar from 29th Kartik (Laxmi Puja) to 1st Manshir (Bhaitika).

Except for Saturday, 1st Baishakh New Year, 19th Baishakh International Workers' Day, 3rd Ashoj Constitution Day, 24th Falgun International Women's Day, 25th Baishakh Buddha Jayanti and 27th Falgun Mahashivratri Day will be a public holiday across the country.

Similarly, the 15th Chaitra will be a public holiday in 56 districts on Sunday, and in the remaining 16 districts of the 16th Chaitra on the day of the Fagurpurnima.

Similarly, on Christmas Day (10th Poush), which is celebrated on 25th December, the government has decided to give only public holidays to Christian fanatics.

On the 15th of Poush, the Udhauli festival of Kirat caste will be celebrated by the Newar community on Wednesday. The 1st Magh is also given a holiday on the occasion of Magh Maghi festival celebrated by Tharu, Magar, and Chhantyal communities as national festivals.

The 30th Magh is the Sonam Lhosar on Friday and the 1st Chaitra Sunday is the Holiday of the Galpo Lhosar. On the day of the festival, the holiday is given in Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Siraha, and Saptari districts.

Female workers are given a holiday on 15th Bhadra Friday, the day of the Teej. Women workers who live in Teej are relieved as Saturday is also a public holiday. Likewise, the 25th Bhadra festival is held on Thursday. On the same day, the female employees who celebrate the Jitia festival will get leave.

In addition to the educational institutions, the holiday is only the day of Vasant Panchami, ie Saraswati Puja. Saraswati Puja of the year 2077 is on the 4th Falgun on Sunday.
