All Local Levels Directed to Update Basic Program and Budget Details

In the context of the start of preparation for the annual program and budget for fiscal year 2026/27 (2083/084 BS), all local levels and Education Development and Coordination Units have been instructed to update their basic details.

According to the decision dated March 10, 2026 (2082-11-26 BS), the concerned bodies must compulsorily enter and submit the details in the Integrated Educational Management Information System (IEMIS) by March 21, 2026 (2082 Chaitra 7 BS).

The notice clearly states that if any difference occurs in the amount to be released to the local level because schools did not complete the details to be filled in IEMIS or because the local level did not fill in the required details, the concerned local level itself will be responsible.

This notice is related to education governance in Nepal and the preparation of the education budget at the local level.

Process for Entry and Submission of Details

1. Log in to the web page of the Integrated Educational Management Information System (IEMIS) at https://emis.cehrd.gov.np using the user ID and password of the local level.

2. After clicking the Local Level menu on the dashboard, click the form that appears there, fill in the details mentioned without discrepancy, and submit it.

3. After submitting the form, print the details, certify them, and send the scanned copy to iemis@cehrd.gov.np and the hard copy to the Educational Information Management Section of the Center.

4. After clicking the Local Level menu on the dashboard, click School Form.

5. A list of schools will then appear. Click the Action button on the right side of each school name, fill in the details mentioned there without discrepancy, and save them.

6. After completing the School Form for all schools, export the details using the Export button. Then print the details, certify them, and send the scanned copy to iemis@cehrd.gov.np and the hard copy to the Educational Information Management Section of the Center.
