Ministry of Education Urges Local Levels and Schools to Complete Admissions for Academic Session 2080

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Nepal has requested local levels and schools to initiate a campaign for the completion of school level admissions for the academic session 2080 within this Baisakh.

Enrollment Program for Academic Session 2080

The education and human resource development center under the ministry has sent letters to all education development and coordination units, local levels, and schools to conduct a student enrollment program for the academic session 2080 with the motto of "timely enrollment, timely knowledge, and quality education, everyone's campaign."

Decision on Student Enrollment Program

On 30th Chaitra 2079, in the presence of the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, the district coordination committee in the ministry, the heads and officials of the Federation of Nepal Municipal Corporations, the National Federation of Municipalities of Nepal, and the officials of the Ministry jointly decided to conduct a student enrollment program to bring all children of the group (above five years) to school for the academic session of 2080.

Free Textbooks and Fees

The Janak Shiksha Material Center and selected printing houses of the private sector have been requested to provide free textbooks to students studying in all public schools at the beginning of the academic session. The local level will monitor this. The fees for private schools will be determined by the local level.

Spokesperson's Statement

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry, Deepak Sharma, the government is committed to providing quality education to all children in the country. The enrollment program and the provision of free textbooks to public school students are part of this commitment. The local level and schools have been urged to cooperate in the successful implementation of the program.
