Applications Invited for Various Agriculture and Livestock Development Programs in Mustang
The Agriculture and Livestock Development Office, Mustang (Jomsom), under the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, Government of Gandaki Province, has invited applications for various agriculture and livestock development programs. The Office published a notice on 2083/04/28, targeting interested agricultural farms, agricultural companies, farmer groups, and cooperative organizations within Mustang District for the implementation of approved annual programs for fiscal year 2083/84.
According to the notice, interested stakeholders must submit applications to the Office within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice, along with a detailed proposal in the prescribed format and the required documents.
The programs to be implemented and their criteria are as follows:
A. Agriculture Section Programs

Fruit Orchard Strengthening and Area Expansion Program

High-Density Technology-Based Fruit Development Program

Community-Level Processing/Food Potato Production Promotion Program

Grant for Purchase and Transportation of Animal Feed (Hay/Silage/TMR)
Agricultural farms, groups, committees, and cooperatives may apply.

Documents Required for Application

Project proposal in the prescribed format and the documents specified in the relevant criteria.

A self-declaration stating whether or not the applicant has received a grant from any office for a program of the same nature during the previous 2 fiscal years.
-
For an individual firm: copy of the firm registration certificate, tax clearance certificate, PAN/VAT registration certificate, and citizenship certificate.

For farmer groups, committees, cooperatives, and partnership companies: copy of the executive committee meeting decision, copy of the organization registration/renewal certificate, copy of the PAN/VAT registration certificate, and tax clearance certificate.

A recommendation letter from the Agriculture Section, Livestock Service Section, or Ward Office of the concerned local level stating that there is no duplication, or will be no duplication, in the implementation of the program and that it is appropriate to provide the program.

Copy of the land ownership certificate or lease agreement. The lease agreement must be for a minimum period of 5 years for potato and indigenous crops and a minimum period of 10 years for fruit crops.

Any additional documents must be submitted in accordance with the relevant criteria and the approved procedures related to budget and program implementation.
