Nepal Medical Council issued Important Notice for the benefit of the Hospital, Healthcare, and the general public

In the wake of the worldwide outbreak of Coronavirus, the World Health Organization (WHO) has published a detailed pandemic (pandemic) directive for health workers as well as important suggestions for the benefit of the general public:

Instruction to hospitals and health workers:

  • In response to the worldwide outbreak of Coronavirus, the World Medical Organization (Pandemic) has declared a worldwide pandemic (Pandemic), the Nepal Medical Council has issued instructions to health workers and health organizations to take the following steps:
  • For over one hundred hospitals, a separate fever clinic with personal protective equipment (personal protection equipment) will be operated by hospitals.
  • Continuously reduce non-essential surgical procedures and treatment modalities and secure therapeutic sources for release.
  • To provide personal protection for health workers.
  • Necessary arrangements will be made to reduce unnecessary congestion in hospitals and treatment centers.
  • For now, General Health does not operate chuck-up clinics.
  • Personal security if not required and should not be operated on except dental care
  • Doing this only with the device (personal protection equipment).
  • Only transmit scientific and proven information on social media and media.
  • To inform the general public to come to the hospital only for urgent services and to issue information.

Request to the General:

Due to the global outbreak of coronavirus, Nepal Medical Council has issued the following suggestions for the benefit of the general public:

  • Do not go to the hospital unless it is necessary to get essential services.
  • Treatment at home with the common cold.
  • After surgery, after all the time, the surgery and services of a similar nature will be done after the condition has subsided.
  • Do not be discouraged. Do not go near the person who has a cough, fever.
  • Even if you do not touch the object. Unwanted/unfamiliar items or people touching hands when touched.
