Notice for Cooperative Merger:

Nepal's cooperative movement has crossed 63 years. So far, 6.5 million people have joined the cooperative movement in about 35,000 organizations. Despite the numerical development of cooperatives during this period, no qualitative development has taken place. The need of the hour is to build a strong and sustainable institution by broadly integrating cooperatives and cooperatives for the qualitative development of cooperatives. The government and cooperatives have adopted a policy of incentives for integration among cooperatives.

The federal government has also mentioned in the budget statement of the Fiscal Year 2077/078 that it will encourage the cooperatives for integration.

Today's need is to build a strong and sustainable cooperative base through integration and to run state-of-the-art services based on technology as well as large productive industries and businesses through cooperatives. To achieve this objective, there is a need for greater integration in the cooperative sector.

In this regard, Pashupati Savings and Credit Co-operative Ltd., which was registered at the then Division Cooperative Office, Lalitpur and has been operating at the national level since 2055 BS. Is conducting a massive integration campaign in 753 local bodies of 77 districts including cooperatives across the country. As per the decision of the 22nd General Assembly of the organization, we call upon the cooperatives across the country to join hands in this campaign. We call upon the interested organizations to unite under the Cooperatives Act-2074 BS, Cooperative Rules-2075 BS, and the Procedure on Cooperative Federation / Institution Integration-2070 BS.
