Press Release from Ministry of Education

Press Release from the Ministry of Education:

According to the Student Learning Facilitation Guide from Alternative System, 2077 BS, Student Learning Facilitation Programs are being continued from the body under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. However, as provided in Article 11 of the directive, the online learning program under the learning facilitation program run by privately-funded schools has been postponed and the ministry has drawn attention to the concerns raised by the public.

In order to facilitate learning through an alternative system, the school has to take permission from the local level in the matter of managerial management. It is mentioned in point no. 18 of the Student Learning Facilitation Directive 2077 from the alternative system issued by the Ministry on 2077-02-18.

In addition, the Ministry has already clarified that if there are any practical problems in the implementation of the learning facilitation program, which has been implemented since 2077 Ashad 1, the educational institution can consult with the concerned local level and follow the instructions.

The Ministry, after consulting with all the stakeholders on the problems arising in private investment schools, has been making efforts to resolve these problems on the basis of suggestions.

It is also worth mentioning in this regard that the monetary policy of the recently released Fiscal Year 2077/078 has made provision for extension of the loan repayment period and restructuring and rescheduling of loans in view of the difficulty in repaying the principal and interest during the lockdown period.

Therefore, the Ministry requests all concerned to continue the learning facilitation activities that have been postponed by the private investment schools in the current difficult situation.
