The construction of the concrete building of Rameshwari Secondary School in Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-8 Bungkot, Gorkha has been completed. Gyan Bahadur Ramtel, chairman of the school management committee, informed that the structure including the school building was built with the financial support of the Japanese government at a cost of Rs 28.9 million.
"Along with the newly constructed child-friendly building, drinking water, necessary furniture for classrooms and flower beds have also been arranged in the school", he said, "a fence has also been installed for the security of the school building." The foundation stone of the building was laid in June 2019 and the construction was completed in Chait itself.
The building was constructed under the learning environment improvement project of the public school of a non-governmental organization called Ekikaran Nepal Gorkha. The newly constructed building has been handed over to the school. "Child Fund" Japan provided technical assistance in the construction of the building.
