Road Board Nepal, Minbhawan, Kathmandu, has invited applications for appointment to the post of Executive Director through open competition.
The Board published a notice on Asoj 19, 2083, seeking applications from eligible candidates within 15 days to fill the position in accordance with Section 21 of the Road Board Act, 2059.
According to the notice, if the final date for submitting applications falls on a public holiday, applicants may submit the form on the next day the office opens.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates applying for the Executive Director position must have:

A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Management

At least five years of experience in a field related to engineering or road management

Completed 35 years of age
-
Not exceeded 60 years of age
The tenure of the Executive Director will be four years.
Required Documents and Working Paper
The application form must be submitted to the office of Road Board Nepal.
Applicants must submit the following documents along with the application:

Personal details or curriculum vitae

Certified copies of certificates relating to educational qualifications, Nepali citizenship and work experience

A working paper explaining the contribution the candidate can make as Executive Director, along with the proposed implementation strategy and work plan

Other supporting documents demonstrating the candidate’s qualifications and competence

Prior approval from the concerned authority in the case of employees currently working in government bodies

A certificate from the Nepal Engineering Council in the case of engineers
The working paper containing the proposed contribution, implementation strategy and work plan must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope.
Who Is Not Eligible to Apply?
The following persons are not eligible for appointment to the position:

Non-Nepali citizens
-
Persons blacklisted under prevailing law
-
Persons who have obtained permanent residency permission in a foreign country

Persons who are not mentally fit
Individuals convicted of corruption, rape, human trafficking or transportation, sale or distribution of narcotic drugs, money laundering, passport misuse, kidnapping, or a criminal offence involving moral turpitude are also ineligible.
A person who has been sentenced to three years or more of imprisonment for any other criminal offence is also not eligible to apply.
