Six-Day ‘Stamford Elite Arena PUBG Showdown 2026’ Begins at Stamford College with Rs 365,000 Prize Pool and Scholarships
The six-day “Stamford Elite Arena PUBG Showdown 2026” has begun at Stamford College. The competition, which will run until September 22, has a total prize pool of Rs 365,000.
Yogesh Upreti, CEO of ISMT Group of Colleges, formally inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp and unveiling the tournament trophy. Business Development Head Basu Wasti and Campus Head Sandeep Pokharel were also present at the opening ceremony.
During the program, Girish Sir delivered the welcome remarks and extended best wishes to all participants. Following the formal inauguration and trophy unveiling ceremony, the PUBG matches for Group A players began.
According to CEO Yogesh Upreti, the tournament will now be organized every year. He said it would provide special opportunities for young people of the new generation while also helping them become more creative.
He stated that Stamford College places special emphasis on “Creative and Critical Thinking” alongside students’ academic studies and said new editions of the tournament would also be organized in the coming years.
On the occasion of the event, Stamford College has also announced various scholarship schemes for participating players, students, and visitors. Stamford College is affiliated with the University of the West of Scotland, which is stated to be ranked 601 in the UK.
Scholarship Details Announced at the Event

Admission Scholarship: Students, players, or visitors who take admission at Stamford College during the event, until September 22, will receive a scholarship of up to Rs 100,000.

Tournament MVP Scholarship: The best player of the tournament, or the Tournament MVP, will receive a scholarship of up to Rs 300,000.

Top 5 MVP Scholarship: Players who secure a place among the Top 5 in the MVP ranking will receive a scholarship of up to Rs 150,000.
