10 Books Shortlisted for Suprama–Eprama International Award 2025

The International Nepali Literary Society, UK, has shortlisted ten books for the prestigious Suprawa–Eprama International Award 2025.

According to the organizing body, these ten books were selected by a review committee from the pool of submitted entries. From this selection, the top five will be further shortlisted, and finally, one best author will be awarded during Bhanu and Ishwar Jayanti celebrations in London on August 9.

Shortlisted Books and Authors

The ten selected books include a diverse range of genres such as novels, poetry, prose, and travelogues.

  • ‘Savarni’ – Novel by Dr. Shridhar Khanal

  • ‘Chotaharuko Utsav’ – Poetry collection by Thakur Belbase

  • ‘Yanimaya’ – Muktak collection by Jeet Budhathoki Chantyal

  • ‘Ani Pratitya Samutpad–Shunya Shunya Mahashunya’ – Poetry collection by Lalgopal Subedi

  • ‘Arjun Alupi’ – Epic poem by Surya Khadka Bikharchi

  • ‘Aksharko Aayam’ – Prose collection by Dr. Rajkumar Kshetri

  • ‘Abhyudaya’ – Poetry collection by Sunam Thama Sangam

  • ‘Aparibhasit Abha’ – Muktak collection by Sabi Shrestha

  • ‘Parjanya Maas’ – Travelogue by Khagendra Giri ‘Kopila’

  • ‘Malai Aryaghat Lager Najalaunu’ – Poetry collection by Bijaya Hitan

Next Steps and Recognition

The award process will proceed as follows:

  • Top five finalists will be selected from the ten shortlisted books
