Gandaki PSC Recommends 4 Waiting List Candidates for Permanent Appointment
Pokhara | Magh 7, 2082 — The Provincial Public Service Commission (PPSC), Gandaki Province has recommended candidates from the waiting list for vacant posts after previously recommended candidates joined other agencies.
According to the Commission, after the candidates earlier recommended for various posts were appointed through the Federal Public Service Commission or other Provincial Public Service Commissions, the respective positions became vacant. Upon request from the concerned local levels, the Commission decided to recommend four (4) waiting list candidates for permanent appointment in the posts of Sub-Engineer, Assistant Animal Health Technician, and Administrative Officer.
As per four separate notices issued by the Commission, the earlier recommended candidates were recommended by the Federal PSC or other Provincial PSCs, which resulted in vacancies in those positions. The Commission has recommended new candidates from the waiting list according to the merit order.
Changes in Sub-Engineer (Civil)

For Nisyang Rural Municipality, Manang, the post became vacant after Sujit Shrestha and the waiting list candidate Abhishek Kumar Singh Danuwar were recommended by the Public Service Commission, Jaleshwar. In the vacant post, Uday Jimba from Mahottari has been recommended.

For Kushma Municipality, Parbat, the earlier recommended candidate Bishnu Joshi was recommended by the Public Service Commission, Kathmandu Office. In his place, Shankar Adhikari from Kaski has been recommended for appointment.

For Aarughat Rural Municipality, Gorkha, the post became vacant after the previously recommended candidate Ramesh Khadka was recommended by the Bagmati Province PSC, and waiting list candidates Gyan Bahadur Budha and Fadindra Karki were recommended by the Koshi Province PSC. In the vacant post, Jeevan Khadka from Rukum (West) has been recommended.

For Nisyang Rural Municipality, Manang, the previously recommended candidate Ahsan Salauddin was recommended by the Federal Public Service Commission for the post of Branch Officer (or equivalent), and his name was removed. As stated in the notice signed by Under Secretary Rishiraj Bastola, after official confirmation was received that the previously recommended candidates and the earlier waiting list candidates had been appointed elsewhere, their names were removed from the merit list and candidates placed in the lower order were given the opportunity. The details of the recommended candidates have been sent to the concerned local levels for appointment.
