Bharatpur Metropolitan City Selects 438 Students for Scholarships
Bharatpur Metropolitan City has selected 438 students for scholarships. The selection for Class 11 scholarships was conducted based on the number of students enrolled in each school.
Students studying in both institutional and community schools who were selected will receive the scholarship. According to Subash Chandra Acharya, Head of the Metropolitan Education Administration Division, these 438 students will receive scholarships for both Grade 11 and 12.
Last year, only 266 students received the scholarship for Grades 11 and 12.
Acharya stated that the selected 438 students must submit their claims along with relevant documents at the metropolitan office within three days.

Subject-wise and School-wise Selection

330 students were selected for science subjects.

108 students were selected from other subjects.

220 students from community schools and 218 students from institutional schools received scholarships.
Application Process and Criteria
Applications were collected through an online process by giving students 15 days to apply under Clause 11, Sub-Clause (4) of the Bharatpur Metropolitan Scholarship Management Procedure, 2082 (with amendments).

According to Acharya, the following students were selected based on category:

13 students with disabilities

13 from families of wounded or missing individuals from the people’s movement and Madhes movement
Students receiving the scholarship are exempt from paying admission and monthly fees. However, all other fees must be paid by the students themselves.
