Laxmidas Manandhar Children’s Welfare Award 2082
Every year, on the occasion of its anniversary, Salt Trading Corporation Limited presents the Laxmidas Manandhar Children’s Welfare Award.
This award recognizes individuals or organizations that have made a significant difference in the lives of children—whether in education, mental and physical development, or in fostering strong values and character.
Call for Nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2082 edition of the award. If you know someone—an individual or an organization—who meets the criteria, you’re encouraged to submit a recommendation.
All nominations must be registered by the end of Shrawan 2082. You can submit them at the central office in Kathmandu or at any of the following provincial offices:

Dhangadhi

Nepalgunj
Please note: Recommendations submitted after Shrawan 2082 will not be accepted.
Who Can Be Nominated
This award is meant for those who have:

Worked directly in fields like child health, education, or child psychology
-
Supported children with special needs or disabilities over the long term
-
Helped improve the education and mental well-being of underprivileged children
-
Provided care and support for vulnerable children for at least 5 consecutive years
-
Raised awareness and worked effectively to protect children’s rights in society
The selection committee will choose the most deserving candidate based on these criteria.
Preference
Special preference will be given to organizations that operate using local resources and funding from within Nepal.
