To facilitate the process this year as well, a Scholarship Entry System has been developed. All schools must submit complete details of scholarships provided to students up to grade 10 by clicking on the given link and logging in using the username and password sent via email and SMS by 2082.02.01.
Legal Action for Non-Compliance
Failure to submit the data within the specified deadline will result in revocation of the school’s permission or approval under Sections 56 and 57 of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Education Act, 2075. Legal action will also be initiated in accordance with this Act and other prevailing laws.

Committee-Based Distribution Only
Scholarships must only be distributed based on the decision of the Scholarship Selection Committee formed under Sub-section (3) of Section 50 of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Education Act, 2075. Only the list approved by the committee will be valid. Any other distribution will be subject to legal action.
Once all data is received, the scholarship list will be made public.
The significance of lawmaking is confirmed only through its effective implementation. Thousands of students have received scholarships through such implementation. Hence, Kathmandu Metropolitan City reiterates its serious commitment to both making and enforcing the law.
