U-Go Nepal, a non-profit social organization, has been supporting young women from economically disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds in their pursuit of higher education. Continuing this mission, applications are now open for the Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2082.

This program provides financial assistance to talented yet economically challenged female students who aspire to pursue higher education in Nepal.

Eligibility Criteria

For General Subjects (BA, B.Ed., BBS, B.Sc.)

• Open to all young women in Nepal pursuing undergraduate studies in general fields.

• Must have secured at least a “B” grade in both Grade 10 and Grade 12.

• Must belong to economically and socially disadvantaged families with an annual income of less than INR 2 lakh from all sources.

• Priority is given to:

  • Marginalized, Dalit, and socially excluded communities

  • Single mothers

  • Families of martyrs

  • Individuals with disabilities

For Technical Subjects (Engineering, Nursing, B.Sc. CSIT, BCA, BBA, B.Pharm, BPH, IT, BBM)

• Open to young women pursuing technical undergraduate programs.

• Must have scored at least 70% in both Grade 10 and Grade 12.

• Must be from economically and socially disadvantaged families with an annual income below INR 2 lakh.

• Priority to the same groups as listed above.

Geographic Coverage

Applicants must belong to the following districts across six provinces:

• Koshi Province: Udayapur, Taplejung, Sunsari, Morang

• Madhesh Province: Rautahat, Siraha, Saptari, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Bara, Parsa, Dhanusa

• Bagmati Province: Chitwan, Kathmandu, Dhading

• Gandaki Province: Parbat

• Lumbini Province: Banke, Bardiya, Dang, Nawalparasi, Rupandehi, Palpa, Rolpa, Rukum (East)

• Sudurpashchim Province: Kanchanpur
