UGC Notice on Higher Education Scholarships 2082
The University Grants Commission (UGC), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, in accordance with the University Grants Commission Program Procedure, 2082 BS, and the Higher Education Scholarship Management Directive, 2080 BS (First Amendment), has issued this notice regarding scholarships for higher education.
Under the program to increase access to higher education, scholarships will be provided for higher education study to students with disabilities, economically disadvantaged students, Dalit students, Muslim female students, children of martyrs and conflict victims, and freed Kamlari students.
Eligible and interested students who have met the minimum qualifications and are currently enrolled in the first year of the bachelor’s or master’s level in the fiscal year 2082/83 BS are informed to complete the scholarship application form online by Chaitra 25, 2082 BS, within office hours.
Applicants must fill out the form by clicking on “Higher Education Scholarship” on the Commission’s website: www.ugcnepal.edu.np, or by using the online system at ugc.pathway.com.np, and must upload the required documents and recommendation letters listed below.

Documents required for scholarship renewal
Students who have been selected by the Commission for the scholarship and have already received the first, second, or third installment must mandatorily upload the following documents to renew the scholarship and receive the remaining installment.

Notes

The age limit for the scholarship is up to 25 years for bachelor’s level and up to 30 years for master’s level. The age limit will not apply to children of martyrs or conflict victims and students with disabilities.

Students who received the scholarship in the previous year will not have a new application considered valid.

No action will be taken on applications received after the prescribed deadline or applications submitted without the required documents.

The Commission will not provide double scholarships to any student for study at the same level.
