Overview
Herald Secondary School was established in 1990 A.D. (2047 B.S.) as a Private educational institution located in Tokha Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated to the national examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers education programs from Grade 1 to 12.
Herald secondary school (HSS) is a co-educational English medium school which was founded in the name of Science Laboratory School. Its concept is value-based education and is a big umbrella for providing education as run School level, Bachelors and Masters's Programs in various streams. The school building is newly built with earthquake resistance technique.
It is being run by a team of dedicated educationists, professionals, and renowned academicians. Its students, faculties, and staff share a commitment to hard work and to advancing society through creativity and innovation. Admissions:
Before your child is due to start school it encourages you to visit them and take a preliminary look at the school. All children have appeared for an entrance exam, after which the school administration will inform you and you are requested to proceed for admission formalities. The school will be pleased to provide you with an information pack, to help prepare your child for full - time education.
School Meals:
The school provides healthy, hygienic nutritious and tasty meals two times a day. The school lunch is a typical Nepali wholesome meal containing rice, pulses, seasonal vegetables, and non-veg items twice a week. It has a dining hall with rows of tables that will seat children at mealtimes along with their respective teachers for supervision. The children say a short prayer before they start their meal. It trains children with proper table manners, essential to the personality development of each child.
Medical Care (Health Care Facility):
If your child is ill before school begins, please do not send them to school on that day, but contact the office and explain the nature of their illness. If your child is unwell, develops a fever or accidentally injured at school, will immediately contact you. If your children have an insignificant injury, It will attend to it, and inform you by phone. It is very important that it has up to date home/workplace telephone numbers or other personal contact numbers. Until the school contacted you, it will take all necessary actions required in the interests of the child.
