Overview
Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya was established in May 2003 to provide quality education to the children of Nepal. It is very pleasing that its progressive curriculum has proven to be very successful and it has been able to reach children of all diverse groups of Nepali Society.
In the fifteen years since it first opened its doors, it has seen the school grow from a primary school to a full-fledged high school with 775 students. Its main purpose has always been to provide an international standard education at an affordable fee so that the maximum of a number of children could benefit from this opportunity. It has sent out five batches of SLC graduates and Its sixth class of 10th graders is almost ready for the first SEE exams. Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya is very proud of its alumni and pleased to share their success stories on its website.
The addition of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) A-Levels program in 2013 was a milestone in the school’s development. The A-Levels is a vibrant, dynamic program. Students from different schools in Nepal and abroad join this course after completion of tenth grade in their respective schools. It is pleased to announce that its new A Level Block was inaugurated by the British Council Representative last year and we are working closely with the British Council to provide this challenging and internationally recognized course to students.
At Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya, its aim has always been to send out graduates who will be responsible global citizens. It nurtures in its students, the ability to make good judgment calls; understand their own interests and capabilities and develop a deeper knowledge of the social and political context of our nation. Thus, while becoming capable of competing with the best in the world, It hopes they will also become passionate about developing their own country. It hopes its efforts to inculcate the good values of tolerance, perseverance, truth, and a dedication to peace will remain with its graduates and stand them in good stead throughout the ups and downs and the many challenges of life. It is indeed proud as well as humbled by the completion of “fifteen years of progressive education” in its journey towards excellence.
Kaashamandap Vidhyalaya School provides up to School level education with moderate fee structures and also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students.
