Overview
The Times International Secondary School was established in 2007 A.D. as a Private Education Institute, which is located at Charkhal, Dillibazar, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examinations Board (NEB) for the Ten Two plus programs. It is also approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers under Science, Management and Humanities programs.
Eligibility for Admission: The admission procedure to conduct the school through an entrance examination followed by an “Interview.” Students holding a minimum of “B+” in the examinations deserve to admitted in the Science stream,” B” in Management and “C” in Humanities.
Scholarship: A wide range of scholarships are provided to academically sound, deserving, marginalized (Dalit, women, Madeshi, Janjati and Martyr’s family members) as well as the needy, but laborious students from the inaccessible area who come across the criteria initiated by College Management. The limited scholarship will be provided to students of Government / public schools who are found to be academically sound.
Schedules of Classes: Teaching in all programs take place in the form of lectures and seminars, project works, workshops, presentation, and group discussion (GD). The morning classes run from 6:30 am to 10:30 am and the day classes from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm with occasional Saturday lectures. Classes are run 6 days a week and the period comprises 45 minutes. The college conducts Unit Tests, Terminal Tests, and Pre- Board examinations on a regular basis.
TTISS strongly believes that students are soft clay and they can be molded in desired shapes by academically and morally sound faculties, and a strong and dedicated management team for which the school is proud of. The school endeavor is to produce system thinkers and management problem solvers who can make this world a better place to live.
The school teach students the theories and concepts to analyze how and why the things behave in the way they do, e.g., how and why markets behave in the way they do and use multiple methods-lectures, cases, simulations, field surveys, pair works, group works and other task-based approaches to impart the required knowledge and develop the skills, and attitudes. Teaching methods, approaches, and techniques it uses to enable and encourage students to challenge conventional wisdom and come up with innovative solutions to social, environmental and business problems. It aims at imparting quality education with a vision to be a national center of excellence and the mission to develop innovative and ethical future business leaders and decision-makers to fulfill the pressing needs of the country.
Since its team greatly believes in performances, not in promises, It is dedicated and devoted to making its students saleable in the world markets. it doesn’t give fish to our students rather it teaches them how to fish themselves and we also instruct them; “You can’t do things differently until you see things differently.”
