The headquater of Galkot Municipality (गल्कोट नगरपालिका, बाग्लुङ) is located at Harichaur, Baglung district, Gandaki Pradesh of Nepal. Galkot Nagarpalika is an urban municipality and local government of Nepal. It has incorporated in 2017 and provides various local government services from its 11 Wards. Such services are Health and Population, Science and Technology, Social Welfare distribution, urban planning, tax collection, Forestry, Agricultural and Livestock Development, land registration, finest utilization of local resources, social security, land registration, Vital registration (Birth, Death, Marriage, Migration and Divorce), local level development projects, education (Basic and Secondary), Communication and Information Technology,transportations, Youth and Sports, Water Resource and Irrigation etc.
