Nepal Telecom (Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited), established as a leading institution in the telecommunication service of Nepal, has entered its 18th year after completing its seventeenth year. To make the Digital Nepal concept put forward by the government meaningful, NTC has been providing services to the customers through the use of the highest technology even in remote areas of the country. The company, which has a glorious history of more than a century of the beginning, development, and expansion of telecommunication services in the country, was transformed into a 'Company' in January 2003.

On the occasion of the company's 17th anniversary, NTC has launched Forge Wireless Home Broadband Service and Machine to Machine Data and SMS service with attractive features that can be used on Forge mobiles across the country from Thursday. The service of NTC, which has moved ahead keeping in view the needs of the service recipients and the demand of the market, has reached about 70 percent of the population of the country.
