First Online Poker University in India

Online lifestyle brand Big Stack has launched India's first poker university. Poker is a card-played game that has the potential to prove the industry's life-line. The Big Stack announced its official launch on November 10, 2019, stating that "Our goal is to provide a platform that serves as a breeding ground for new players". Poker University has been started by Rai Sahib Singh Khurana, Ritesh Tanu, and Sunny Kochhar with the aim of improving the game globally in India. All the stakeholders were involved in this program.

Sharing his vision, Rai said, "I often used to think that if someone in India wants to learn poker," he has no choice here "In India, it was a void and we are planning to fill it Huh. The founders emphasized the impact of poker on the lives of players with their course structure. Co-founder, Sunny said, "My initial thought was that the Indian market is ready enough to accept poker education". Over the next 10-15 days, we did research and we were confident that we would get it as soon as possible.

They have to prepare. They said that we started talking to our network within the poker community and we became even more confident by seeing the responses and responses we received. He also mentioned the importance of life skills in the game of hockey. He said taking risks, developing a strategy to win the competition, managing bankroll and showing off are some of the key skills learned from poker. Ritesh calls it Yale, Harvard, MIT and our own vision of moving to B-schools in India on the lines of IIM Kozhikode.

 

Business left to play poker:

The coaches of the Big Stack left businesses they did not like due to their passion for poker. Coaches Abhishek Goindi, Pratibha Arya and Prabhat Mukherjee said goodbye to the corporate world and started playing poker. Rai and Ritesh point out that poker is like any other game. This requires a lot of mental and physical health as well as hours of concentration, practice, and observation. Female poker player Pratibha Arya joined hands with Big Stack to increase women's representation in the game. Poker Abhishek Goindi of India emphasized the lack of guidance and freedom that he himself experienced when he was a beginner in the world of poker.

Importance of life skills in the game of poker:

Prabhat, the designer, and coach of the course spoke about his excitement at the launch saying, "We hope that the Big Stack can help increase it by at least 20% for the next 2 years and later in the year. We can take it forward by 30-40% per year. Big Stack announced pre-booking from the official launch till November 10, 2019.
