To make traveling more convenient, Google is going to add a new translation feature to the map app. This feature will not only tell the user the name and address of the place by speaking in the local language but by using this feature, the traveler will be able to talk to their host better and effectively. Users will start getting this feature through the new update of Google Maps. Initially, it will work in 50 languages.

Users will find out the location of themselves

On Wednesday, Google said that it can be used through the place name and the new speaker button placed right next to the address. It will speak the name and address of the place in a loud voice so that there is no problem with the user's trip. At the same time, Google Maps will link it directly to the Google Translate app.

The company further informed that this new feature will be launched this month. It can be used on both Android and iOS devices. Currently, it will support only 50 languages, but further languages will be added to it.

Its text-to-speech feature will automatically detect in which language the user wants to translate and where the user is traveling. Apart from the direction and place name, if the user wants to talk about any other information or more, then the app will connect it directly to the Google Translate app.

Recently, Google has added the Incognito Mode feature to Google Maps to give privacy to the user's location. The company has also started rolling it out for Android device users.
