Chinese telecommunications company Huawei remains strong after US sanctions. US President Donald Trump has announced a ban on Huawei, accusing him of security and espionage.

Trump has already warned Huawei not to use US technology, but Huawei has already invested in technology research.

Huawei's investment with the aim of breaking its dependence on US technology has forced US companies to rethink their relationships with them. Huawei Technologies Limited is currently the second-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, with little use by Americans. Huawei has succeeded in making 'switching gear' the main task of building a telephone network. Its equipment is used by 45 of the world's 50 largest telephone providers. Huawei has begun to provide the latest generation of telecoms - the 5G service. It has put forward plans to provide technology not only for high-speed internet service but also for driverless cars. These actions have raised the security interest in the western nation and 3G has become a politically sensitive topic.

Huawei also needs the latest US technology, especially Google's Android service. But Huawei has spent $ 2 billion over the past decade to develop new technology to replace Android. 'The Chinese want to break the dependence on American technology. They have become self-reliant in many areas, "said Bengt Nordstrom of the North Stream, a research firm based in Stockholm.

Huawei's sales in 2018 were $1.07 trillion, of which about $15 billion was spent on research and development. This amount is more than Apple or Microsoft. Huawei has about 76,000 engineers and more researchers in China and Silicon Valley, Russia, Bangalore and other industrial centers in India.
