Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Twitter account has been hacked. Prime Minister Modi's Twitter account linked to a personal website was hacked on Thursday morning.
Hackers have tweeted a series of cryptocurrencies from Modi's account. Followers are asked to donate. According to the BBC, quoting a Twitter spokesperson, Prime Minister Modi's Twitter has been hacked.
"We are actively investigating the situation. We're not sure if more accounts will be affected at this time, "said a Twitter spokesperson.
This is the latest high-profile security breach following a similar attack on US presidential candidate Joe Biden and Tesla founder Elon Musk in July.
