PUBG Banned in Nepal

On the popular mobile video game PUBG, the Nepal government has completely banned. In a statement issued by the government, it has been said that PUBG had a negative effect on children. "We have ordered the ban on PUBG as it is like addiction to children and adolescents," said Sandeep Rao, deputy director of the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA). This ban on PUBG has been effective from Thursday.

Due to the demand of the of general people of Nepal to ban on PUBG, the regulator has instructed all internet service providers, mobile operators, and network service providers to ban PUBG on their Network.

The official also said that so far no cause of violence or any incident has been reported due to PUBG in Nepal, but there is concern about this mobile game that children will be addicted and their attention can get distracted by studies.

 Significantly, there have been many incidents including suicides due to the PUBG game in India. In Gujarat, this ban was imposed for almost a month and despite the ban, 16 people were arrested for the role of playing in PUBG, although they were later released. In India, too many organizations have also demanded a ban on PUBG in India.
