NTC offers 35 GB Data for Students, Teachers, and Researchers:

An agreement has been reached between Nepal Telecom and Private and Boarding Schools' Organization, Nepal (PABSON) to provide cheap data for conducting classes online.

The ‘Happy Learning Pack’ made available to teachers, students, and researchers of universities, affiliated campuses, and community campuses across the country under an agreement signed between Nepal Telecom and the University Grants Commission on Bhadra 8; An agreement has been reached with PABSON to make it available for school level students and teachers from Tuesday.

Users of this package will be able to get 24 GB of data for Rs 315 and 35 GB for Rs 500. The 24 GB data package includes 20 GB of data for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet e-learning applications, and the remaining 4 GB of data can be used for any other application.

Similarly, 30 GB of data in the 35 GB data package can be used to zoom, e-learning applications in Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, and the remaining 5 GB of data can be used to use any other application.

The Happy Learning Pack can be used at any time that suits you through the GSM Mobile (2G, 3G, and 4G) data service provided by Nepal Telecom. The duration of both these packages will be 28 days.

As per the agreement, the PABSON will send information to all schools with requests to use Nepal Telecom's 'Happy Learning Pack'. After receiving the information, schools will have to send a list of their students' mobile numbers via email to [email protected] to use the package.

Students can register for the Happy Learning Pack by going to Nepal Telecom's website www.ntc.net.np without the help of the college.
