Opportunity to Make Government Service Paperless and Faceless - PM KP Sharma Oli:
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that there is an opportunity to make government service paperless and faceless by making good use of information technology.
Addressing a program organized by the Ministry of Communications on the occasion of National Information Technology Day (ICT Day) on Sunday, Prime Minister Oli expressed this view.
Prime Minister Oli said, "By making the best use of information technology and making the government service paperless and faceless, we will be able to provide services to the common people in a short time and at low cost without any hassle, easy, simple, and accessible Today we have the opportunity to do things like discussion, consultation. '
Recalling that the government has implemented Digital Nepal Framework 2076 as a transformational project, Prime Minister Oli said that it covers eight sectors including education, health, agriculture, energy, tourism, urban infrastructure, finance, digital foundation, and 80 digital initiatives.
Prime Minister Oli informed that the construction and expansion of the information highway connecting East-West, North-South, and district headquarters have been expedited.
He said that work has been taken to ensure access to information technology infrastructure to all local levels, ward offices, community schools, and health centers, to provide broadband internet service in the above places, and to establish and operate information technology centers at each local level.
