PM Oli Launched Model Smart School Campaign

With the goal of bringing information technology contribution to more than eight billion rupees in the economy, the government has brought the overall 'Framework' to digital Nepal. After the long study, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has identified eight different areas and gathered it in Framework. According to the ministry, preparations are being made to prepare the Permanent Works and pass it through the Council of Ministers.

The framework aims to increase the use of information technology especially in the construction of digital infrastructure, agricultural, health, tourism, finance, and urban infrastructure. As mentioned in the framework, all the works of Digital Nepal come into effect, the contribution of information and technology (ICT) in total gross health products will reach over Rs 8 billion. The objectives of Digital Nepal Framework (DNF) have also been included in the 15th Five Year National Plan which will be implemented in the coming fiscal year (2076/2077). In the same periodic plan, it has been prepared to bring digital Nepal into the Framework implementation.

During the second National Information and Communication Technology Day, 2076 organized in the capital, the Ministry has informed that the Ministry (MoCIT Nepal) will increase its contribution in the economy by developing information technology. In the inaugural ceremony, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the use of technology should be linked to production. He said that only to achieve the prosperity of the Nepalese goal, increasing the production and technique of production could only be achieved. He said that 'the cost of more production at low cost may be possible by the use of government's thinking technology.'

Prime Minister Oli told that the government is moving forward by providing technical access to all Nepali. He said that 'Optical fiber is being spread across the country and is going to the internet at a rapid speed'. He said that computer and laptops are essentially installed. He said that the government made a new way of thinking about the tax paid in such goods.

In the program, Prime Minister Oli also urged the user to remove the disorder in social networks and use it properly. He said that celebrating the day is also the determination of the government of the digital government, as it is ready to support its development.

In the program, Gokul Prasad Baskota, Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MoCIT), will not let the project be held in the ICT area for another year. He said that the actual results of this area were being done at the speed of next year.

Member of the National Planning Commission (NPC), Min Bahadur Shahi, told that eight strategies were prepared for the development of information technology in the basis of the 15th Plan. He said that digital Nepal retention should be implemented within the same scheme.

Secretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Mahindranman Gurung told the information about the digital acceptance of digital Nepal and was at the stage of acceptance. With this coming in implementation, ICT will not only increase the contribution but it will make significant changes in the overall economy. So far, the mobile app has been used in 377 local level and will be used by the local level in the coming year. He said that data center installation plan was also prepared in banks and Morang to maintain electronic data. He said that more than one thousand schools have started moving the work of computer Labs at rapid speed. He said that phase-of-the-day connectivity would be started with optical fiber. He said that every model smart school is being done in every state.

 ICT Award in four Categories: 

On the occasion of the National ICT day, the Government has provided awards in various four categories. Under which the 'ICT Innovation Award' is achieved by Paaila Technology. The company has been providing service to the service provider through a robot in a restaurant operating on the highway road. Similarly, the 'Public Sector Award' from Nepal Police has received the same. Worldlink Communications has got awards from the private sector. Suresh Kumar Karna, on the other hand, has received awards. The Ministry has called for an open competition for the award and said that it has been the best choice from the applications received.
