Alternative Energy Promotion Centre Invites Applications for 'Clean Cooking Solutions Mobilizer'
The Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC), Tahachal, under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Government of Nepal, has invited applications to recruit personnel on a service contract basis. The Centre published a notice on 2083/05/04 seeking personnel for the duration of the project.
With support from the Green Climate Fund, the program titled "Mitigating GHG emission through modern, efficient and climate friendly clean cooking solutions (CCS)" is being implemented in up to 150 local levels across 22 districts of the Terai. The Centre has sought personnel for the implementation of this program.
Interested Nepali citizens may submit an application to the Centre or via email at hr@aepc.gov.np within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice, along with copies of certificates verifying work experience, citizenship, and academic qualifications.

Required Number: 18 under the open category and 18 under the women category

Academic Qualification: Passed the Proficiency Certificate Level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

Experience: At least two years of work experience in the renewable energy sector, social mobilization, or business promotion/marketing.

Duty Station: Designated local level.
Selection Process and Other Information

Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic qualifications and experience, followed by a written examination and interview. The syllabus for the written examination can be obtained from the Centre's website at www.aepc.gov.np.

Results will be published in order of merit, and contract appointments will be made for the program. A list of alternate candidates will also be published along with the results.

If a principal candidate leaves within one year, a contract appointment will be made as required from the list of alternate candidates in order of merit.

Remuneration will be determined through mutual agreement within the program norms.

If the final date for submitting applications falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted on the following day. The Centre has clarified that no action will be taken on applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline.
