Application Call for the Post of Chairman of Minimum Wages Fixation Committee
Government of Nepal, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Notice inviting applications for the post of Chairman of Minimum Wages Fixation Committee.
This notification has been published to submit applications from Nepalese citizens who meet the following qualifications as they have to be recommended for appointment as the chairman of the Minimum Wages Fixation Committee.
1) Age completed 30 years and not exceeding 65 years till the last day of submission of application.
2) Passed at least graduation from a recognized educational institution.
3) Worked as editor-in-chief, editor, publisher, or manager of a media registered according to law, or worked at an academic or policy-making level related to mass media, or had at least seven years of experience in the field of journalism and mass media.
4) In the case of both persons who are in the service of any government service or public institution, authority, board, committee, commission, establishment, or public company, or who have retired from service, have worked at least in an official level position.
5) Not having been punished for violation of journalistic code of conduct.
6) Not disqualified for appointment according to prevailing law.
7) Interested persons who meet the above qualifications should apply to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology by attaching the following documents:
(a) Application for opening of business for which appointment is to be made,
(b) Copy of Certificate of Nepali Citizenship,
(c) Personal details including qualifications (Biodata),
(d) Copy of certificate of educational qualification (including equivalency certificate if qualification of foreign educational institution),
(e) Copy of experience opening certificate (showing period of service),
(f) A seal of not more than 5,000 words prepared on A4 size paper in Nepali or English language.
Business plan (computer typed, with your name at the top of the cover page and no name or identification anywhere else);
(g) Self-declaration of not having a permanent residence permit of any foreign country,
(h) Copy of any other document related to the post.
8) In the case of educational qualification and work experience certificate, it should be certified by a notary public.
9) Last date for submission of application: 7th day from the date of publication of this notification. If there is a public holiday on that day, within office hours on the next day.
10) Place of submission of application: Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Institute Coordination Branch, Sinha Darbar.
11) Based on the professional action plan submitted by the candidate, its presentation and evaluation of the interview, it will be recommended for appointment.
12) No action will be taken on applications that are not received properly and within time.
13) Along with the application, the candidate has to submit a self-declaration along with his qualifications. The self-declaration format can be obtained from the Ministry's website at www.mocit.gov.np.
