Bagmati University Invites Applications for Dean Appointment
Bagmati University (बागमती विश्वविद्यालय), Central Office, Hetauda, Makwanpur, has initiated the process of appointing a Dean for the field of Management. The University’s Recommendation Committee published the first notice on 2083/04/07 BS, inviting applications from qualified candidates.
Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications, along with the from qualified candidates.
Interested and required documents, to the Central Office in Hetauda during office hours within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice.
Candidates who are unable to visit the office in person may also submit their applications and required documents by email to info@bagmatiuniversity.edu.np. The committee has clarified that applications received after the deadline or submitted without completing the prescribed procedures will not be included in the selection process.
Required Documents and Conditions
In addition to an application and curriculum vitae (CV), candidates must submit a professional work plan outlining their concept in no more than 3,000 words. They must also fulfil the following requirements and submit the specified documents:
Age and Citizenship

A certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate

A document confirming that the candidate is not above 56 years of age
Academic Qualifications
Candidates must submit certified copies of documents showing that they have:

Passed a master’s degree or equivalent with at least a second division from a recognised university

Completed a doctoral degree
-
Obtained all academic certificates from the secondary level through the doctoral level
Candidates holding foreign academic qualifications must have obtained an equivalence certificate from Tribhuvan University or the University Grants Commission.
Experience
Candidates must submit certified details of experience in any of the following areas:

Teaching at a university or another higher education institution
-
Appointment as a professor, associate professor, or assistant professor
-
Work experience in leadership or management positions
Research and Publications
Candidates must submit documents related to:

Articles and other works published in recognised national and international journals, as specified

Books
-
Leadership roles in research projects as Principal Investigator (PI), Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), or Member
-
Experience in fund mobilisation and international collaboration
Self-Declarations
Candidates must declare that they:

Have not invested and do not hold investments in private educational institutions in a manner that creates a conflict of interest with the relevant faculty of the University

Have not been convicted of any criminal offence by a court and have not been declared ineligible under the law

Are not members of any political party and will not be affiliated with a political party while holding the position

Have not obtained a permanent residency permit from any foreign country
