Bharatpur Water Supply Management Board Announces Executive Director Vacancy

Bharatpur, Chitwan: Bharatpur Water Supply Management Board, located in Bharatpur, Chitwan, has invited applications for the position of Executive Director.

The Board's Selection Subcommittee published its first vacancy notice on 19 Kartik 2083 BS, inviting qualified Nepali citizens to submit applications within 15 days of the notice's publication.

Required Qualifications and Age Limit

Candidates applying for the Executive Director position must meet the following age and educational requirements.

Age Limit:

Applicants must have completed 45 years of age and must not exceed 60 years by the application submission deadline.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates must meet either of the following requirements:

1. At least a master's degree in Engineering, Management, Finance, Commerce, Law, Public Administration, or Economics from a recognized educational institution.

OR

2. A bachelor's degree in any of the above-mentioned subjects, along with at least three years of managerial experience.

Disqualification Criteria and Conditions

The following individuals will not be eligible to apply for the Executive Director position:

• Individuals convicted by a court of a criminal offense involving moral turpitude.

• Individuals dismissed from service in a manner that disqualifies them from future employment in public bodies.

Applicants currently employed in government or non-government organizations must submit a No Objection Letter from their respective organizations along with their applications.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a two-stage evaluation process.

First Stage: Evaluation and Shortlisting

The first stage will assess candidates based on:

• Educational qualifications

• Training

• Work experience

• Working paper writing

A maximum of five candidates will be shortlisted for the second stage.

Second Stage: Presentation and Interview

Shortlisted candidates will undergo:

• Professional plan presentation

• Interview

Based on the overall evaluation, the candidate securing the highest marks will be selected as the successful candidate, while the candidate obtaining the second-highest marks will be selected as the alternative candidate.

The Board has stated that the date of the written examination for working paper writing will be announced later.

• Application Deadline: Within 15 days from the date of publication of the vacancy notice, during office hours.

• Submission Location: Bharatpur Water Supply Management Board Office, Bharatpur–10, Chitwan.

• Application Fee: NPR 2,000 (Two Thousand Rupees Only).
